St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's School seeks an experienced, highly motivated 4th Grade Teacher who will be responsible for developing and implementing lessons and activities that engage and motivate students to learn. The teacher will be required to provide a safe and supportive learning environment, guide students to reach their full potential, and work closely with parents and other staff members.
Develop and deliver lesson plans and activities that are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with learning standards.
Establish a classroom atmosphere that fosters a love of learning and deep sense of belonging.
Monitor student progress, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback
Prepare students for success through group and individualized instruction and support.
Communicate regularly with parents and other staff members
Participate in faculty meetings and professional development workshops
Prepare reports, plans, and communications that support student
Lead parent/teacher conferences and be available to meet with parents as needed.
Work collaboratively to achieve the mission of the school.
Set an example of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, life-skills, self-motivation and self-discipline.
Bachelors degree in education or related field, Masters preferred. Four years of experience teaching middle school.
